Who we are

SiteCheck is operated by Litework. When we say “we” or “us”, we mean Litework. For privacy questions contact support@litework.me.

What we collect

• Account details — name, email address and password (stored as a hash).
• Websites you add — URLs you ask us to scan or monitor, plus alert preferences.
• Scan results — pages crawled, issues found and metadata needed to produce reports.
• Billing records — subscription status and payment references from our payment provider (we do not store card numbers).
• Support messages — anything you send us via the support form or email.

How we use your data

We use your data to run SiteCheck: crawling the websites you authorise, generating reports, sending alert emails, processing subscriptions and responding to support requests. We do not sell your personal data.

Crawling and SiteCheckBot

Our crawler fetches publicly accessible web pages using the User-Agent SiteCheckBot. It respects robots.txt. See our crawler page for details on blocking the bot.

Third-party services

• Creem — merchant of record for subscription payments and billing.
• Resend — transactional and report email delivery.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.

Data retention

• Free scans — results are kept for 30 days, then deleted automatically.
• Monitored sites — scan history is kept while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation so you can export reports.
• Account data — kept until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EEA you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at support@litework.me and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
